On May 2rd, the MiaoliJuvenile Detention House held a grand event for Mother's Day, where young people were able to meet and interact face-to-face with their mothers.
This family gathering event also includes organizing parental education for young families. The program includes four activity stations for young people and their families to repair and reconcile. The event provides drinks, snacks, lunch, traditional Hakka pounded tea, where young people and their families can participate in making tea together. The young people then serve the tea to their parents, guiding them to express feelings of guilt and love that they may be hesitant to share. This serves as an opportunity to encourage young people to cherish the opportunity to learn and grow, so that their future lives can be as rich and fragrant as the layers of tea powder.
